How guides on BskySuite are researched, written, reviewed, and corrected.

Last updated 15 August 2026.

Who writes this site

The written guides on this site are researched and produced by the BskySuite Team, a small group who use Bluesky daily. Devaka writes the developer and AT Protocol material. Samanta covers growth, custom feeds, and moderation topics. Founder Chathura Jayasanka builds the tools, works across all topics, and reviews anything that touches the protocol, the API, or how our tools behave.

Full details of who does what are on the team page.

No article on this site is syndicated, purchased, or spun from another publication. Every guide carries a byline and a date so you know who stands behind it and when it was last checked.

How guides are researched

Instructions are tested against the live Bluesky platform before publication rather than assembled from other articles. Because our tools are built directly against the AT Protocol public API, much of what is documented here comes from working with those endpoints in practice rather than from secondary reading.

Where a claim depends on an outside fact, such as a policy change or a partnership, the article links to a primary source, normally Bluesky's own announcements or the AT Protocol documentation, rather than to secondary coverage.

Accuracy standards

  • No invented data. Statistics are published only when they were actually collected, and the collection method is stated. Bluesky's public API does not expose impressions, reach, or profile views, so estimates are never presented as measurements.
  • Limitations are stated plainly. Where a tool or a platform feature cannot do something, the article says so rather than glossing over it.
  • Uncertainty is labelled. If something is changing, disputed, or region-dependent, the article says that instead of implying false certainty.
  • Opinion is separated from fact. Recommendations are marked as such and the reasoning is given, so you can disagree with the conclusion.

Dates and updates

Every article shows a publication date, and articles that have been revised show an updated date. Fast-moving topics, such as regulatory changes, carry a visible note about when the information was last checked. Guides are revised when the platform changes rather than left to drift.

Corrections

Errors are corrected rather than quietly removed. When a correction changes the substance of an article, the updated date is revised so readers can see the article has moved on. Responsibility for published content rests with the founder. Report an error at hello@bskysuite.com or through the contact form, and it will be reviewed by a real person.

Advertising and independence

BskySuite is independent and not affiliated with Bluesky Social PBC. The tools are free and funded by advertising rather than by selling data, and no personal data is collected in the first place. Advertising has no influence over the content of guides, and no article on this site is sponsored or paid for. Where an article recommends a third-party tool, it is because it is genuinely useful, not because of any commercial arrangement.

AI use

Drafting assistance may be used for structure and phrasing, but every published article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a member of our team before it goes live, and the claims in it are verified against the live platform or a primary source. No article is published without human review.
